About This Project:
This project was based on a website design competition on 99designs.com for a pet adoption agency.
Pet Up is a pet adoption website where organizations, pet shops, and breeders can promote pets available for adoption. The website focuses not only on dogs and cats but other animals such as rabbits, birds, and more exotic creatures. My job was to design a website that was playful, and easy to navigate for the user to find their perfect pet.
Strategy: My strategy was to research a variety of pet businesses from stores to adoption agencies and pet hotels. This was to get an idea of what trends were happening in the pet community. I wanted to understand the steps users take when picking a pet as well as services and products for their family additions.
